Welcome
We have been serving the village of Bath, New York and surrounding areas, since 1869, when the first Bath Library Association was formed. Over the years, we’ve grown from our first building, the Magee House, to our new home, the Dormann Library, located at 101 West Morris Street, Bath.
Our Community
Nestled amidst the rolling hills and vibrant farmland of Steuben County, Bath proudly serves as the county seat. Established in 1793, Bath boasts a rich history, evident in the grand brick buildings lining the streets of its walkable downtown. This friendly community offers a unique blend of small-town warmth with access to the scenic wonders of the Finger Lakes and nearby cultural experiences.
The Dormann Library is a member of the Southern Tier Library System. We are an association library with 501(c)(3) status
